Dr.S.Indumathi completed her undergraduation from Madras Medical College (MBBS). Dr Indumathi pursued her ophthalmology from Madurai Medical College.She has been associated with Dr.K.K.Eye Surgical & Paediatric Centre since 2008.

Dr.K. Kavithalaksmi M.S ( Ophthal) FMRF (Phacoemulsification), Director and Chief ophthalmic surgeon of Dr K K Surgical and Paediatric centre, Selaiyur and also the Medical Director of K.K.Eye health Care & Research Centre, West Tambaram is the moving force behind this Hospital which stands transformed from its modest beginning in 2002 at Tambaram. She is a renowned and well established Cataract and LASER Refractive surgeon. She pioneered the use of Aspheric, Toric and Multifocal IOLs and ICLs. The state of the art phacoemulsification system and microscope aid in performing the most advanced phaco procedure, MICS microincision cataract surgery through an unbelievable sub 2mm opening with implantation of the best IOLs in the world viz aspheric/ aberration free monofocal, multifocal, toric and accommodative IOLs. She graduated from Stanley Medical College with academic distinctions and did her post graduation from Madurai Medical College. She did her fellowship in phacoemulsification in Sankara Nethralaya one of the most premier institutions in this country. She received the RATAN TATA Fellowship in Advanced Cataract Surgery from Sankara Nethralaya.
